Jeremy Szczurek

Jeremy grew up locally in the Chicago suburbs playing his younger days at Leafs Hockey Club. His journey continued to the WSHL where he was named team captain of the Cheyenne Stampede. He then joined the Iowa State Cyclones D3 hockey team before he finished competing in 2019.

During the freshman season at Iowa State, Jeremy finished second in team scoring with 20 points in 21 games. His success continued during the sophomore season where he was named a team captain. After finishing as the second highest scoring defenseman in the nation, Jeremy was named to the ACHA D3 1st Team All-American team. He also had the honor of being selected to first team MACHA three years in a row, and was selected to the MACHA all star team his final season in 2019. Jeremy earned back-to-back defenseman of the year in the MACHA during his Sophomore and Junior season, and finished his playing career totaling more than 120+ points at Iowa State.

While maintaining high performance on the ice, Jeremy performed just as successfully in the classroom. He was a member of the Deans List in all 4 years at Iowa State. His focus and attention to detail help mentor and guide young athletes through their hockey journey.
